As this experience involves extended walking, we strongly suggest comfortable footwear and layered, weather-suitable attire.
This is a functioning place of worship — all visitors must have shoulders and knees covered. Entry may be denied to those not meeting the dress code requirements.
Naples is a lively city — we advise keeping valuables close and using a cross-body bag, particularly in busy areas and while using public transport.

Our wonderful guide Georgea picked us up at our hotel in Rome for a fantastic day trip to visit Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa. Georgea was a perfect guide, very knowledgeable and super friendly, making for a memorable day visiting two wonderful historic sites in Tivoli.

Wir hatten kurzfristig bei Exploro Tours einen Tagesausflug von Rom aus nach Orvieto und Montepulciano gebucht, da uns ein anderes Unternehmen die Tour storniert hatte.
Letztendlich war das genau unser Glück, denn der Tag mit Exploro Tours hätte nicht besser sein können! Mit leichter Verspätung (dies war aber dem römischen Verkehr geschuldet, wofür das Unternehmen nichts kann!) ging es los. In einem edlen Mercedes fuhr uns unser Fahrer zunächst nach Orvieto, wo wir eine private Tour durch den wundervollen Ort und den noch schöneren Dom erhielten. Im Anschluss ging es in die Toskana nach Montepulciano, wo wir den historischen Weinkeller des Weinguts De'Ricci kennenlernten und im Anschluss die tollen Rotweine verkosten durften, dabei wurde nach Belieben nachgeschenkt.
Unser Fahrer und Guide nahm sich den ganzen Tag sehr viel Zeit für uns und war sehr freundlich, der Preis von 500 Euro für zwei Personen für diesen Tag war absolut gerechtfertigt. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

We had a great time with our private guide at the Colosseum and the Forum. She was very knowledgeable and informative. She kept my teenage children engaged the entire time. It was a rainy day but in no way impacted our experience. The pick up at our Air BnB was appreciated. It was a 5 star experience.

On a eu une visite très interessante avec une guide experte, qui nous a conduits à travers les musées du vatican, la chapelle sistine et la basilique de Saint Pierre ( la plus grande et la plus belle parmi les églises de Rome ). Un chauffeur privé elegant et une petite assistante très gentille de l'agence sont venus nous chercher directement chez nous, pour nous conduire au Vatican, où notre guide Luisa nous attendait.
Luisa est une dame sympa, et une guide experte, qui nous a tout expliqué à prorpos des chefs-d'oeuvre des musées d'une façon claire et intéressante. La chappelle sistine est superbe et vu qu'il s'agit d'un lieu sacre on y peut pas parler, du coup la guide, avant d'entrer, nous a exposé et décrit toutes les images représentées en utilisant des photos d'un livre.
Avoir choisi cette agence a été un beau coup, car on a été vraiment traités comme des VIP! Tous les memebre de l'équipe sont en lien entre eux et il s'assurent que le tour se développe comme souhaité.

My husband and I decided to book a day trip to Capri and we had a beautiful day. We needed more details so we spoke to Alessio, a kind and helpful guy of the agency, who answered to all of our questions.
A private driver arrived at our hotel very early in the morning. He drove us down to Sorento, where we had a tasty breakfast and then took a water taxi to reach the island. In Capri we had lunch, and we could enjoy the wonderful view of the amalfi coast - which is absolutely breathtaking.
The agency organised everything and treated us like VIP, we felt so flattered and comfortable with them! We highly recommend exploro tours agency!

Our tour leader, Pasqalino, needs to be honoured for his excellence in knowledge, delivery of a massive amount of information, and caring attitude towards his guests.
On a stifling hot day he spoke from the moment we started to the moment we finished, answering all questions , offering a very diverse range of knowledge in history, science, architecture, art, culture and the rest. What an amazing man.

This tour company was recommended to me by my hotel with assurances of a personalised experience. Travelling by myself I felt completely safe and protected by the driver of my sleek black Mercedes.
I utilised this company for visits to Vatican City, an evening tour of Rome, a beautiful drive to Sorrento enjoying the exquisite coastline scenery, a 5 star shopping experience through the charming streets of the Piazza de Spagna, and my personal favourite a visit to the charming Orvieto and Tuscany to the Montepulciano vineyard for wine tasting.
To see the larger groups of 20 plus people jostling for position from other companies, compared to my seamless personal tour, I felt so pleased I had invested a little more to experience such superlative service. I have returned home with a complete respect for those extremely knowledgeable staff members Jerry, Peter, Rosanna, and Antonio. A special hug to lovely Marco. Great tour with an enthusiastic host. We enjoyed the early morning Vatican tour. Crowds were minimal and we were able to enjoy the Vatican museums,Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica without the massive crowds. It was well worth the cost to have this experience with my family. Incredible is an understatement. Amazing. Words don’t do this tour justice. Just do it.

I cannot speak highly enough of this tour!! We hadn’t prebooked anything before we arrived in Rome as I was waiting to get a feel for the city. I wanted a hotel pick up to visit the Vatican and it looked as if I had left it to late. However messaging via internet live chat I had wonderful service and even late at night pick up was confirmed for the next day. A comfortable ride took us to meet the wonderful Lisa and I am in awe of the way she negotiated the crowds ( which are horrendous!!!) looked after the group and told us the most wonderful information about the art treasures we saw. I learned so much on this tour and I am so appreciative. My advice is never try to do this independently!!! You need an expert guide to monitor you through the maze of buildings , security checks, and to give you the information on what you are experiencing. Explorotours were just wonderful. The experience would have been completely overwhelming without Lisa’s expert guidance and we had an unforgettable day through the Vatican Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basillica.

Silvia was our tour guide for the Vatican and she did a spectacular job describing everything to me and my family (husband + 2 kids) during our tour. This is the third time in the last 5 years we have taken a different grandson, all under 10, on a private tour of the Vatican. Our guide Marlene was superb and it takes a special guide to captivate a 9 year old. Her enthusiasm for all she was describing was a big part of that. We learned new things as well and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hours with her.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour of the Vatican and Vatican museum. Our guide, Cesare, excitedly shared his knowledge of the artwork and information about the Vatican. Another guide, Antonio, made sure we were all set for the tour and met us at the museum to give us the tickets. I'm so glad I chose this tour! I had a day long layover in Rome, which I'd never been to, and I wanted to get the most out the few hours I had at my disposal. There were 6 other people in the tour with me, but it felt really personal and it was fun to interact with other tourists and share experiences and opinions. The guide was extremely prepared for any questions any of us had, and we got to see the most important spots and landmarks in Rome, all in a day's work. I'm so happy and in love with this city I'm definitely coming back for a longer stay and will absolutely book another tour with these guys! Bravissimi!

Peter from Exploro tours was just amazing. There was no way we could have covered Sorento, Positano and Amalfi in a day with the 3 hour or so car ride from Rome. We had initially booked a rental car and after doing some research about the Amalfi drive, decided to opt for this private tour. Probably the best decision! Peter with his Mercedes' made us feel special. He took us to the market place in Sorento where we shopped, had coffee and then our next stop was Positano, where we got couple hours to shop, eat and hit the beach! He always had good suggestions on where to eat, what to do etc. Then the last stop was Amalfi. Not to forget the various stops at vantage points to take pics. We enjoyed the view while sitting in a comfy AC car as it was also a hot day topping 90 deg F. Kids and I slept on the way to and on the way back once we were on the freeway. Was hassle free and enjoyable. We did not have to worry about driving in a foreign country, worry about parking, where to shop etc. highly recommend this trip with Exploro tours via TripAdvisor. Great trip and Peter was a gentleman and we had a great day and will always remember this amazing day trip!

Our tour guided by Julia was more than anything we could have expected. She greeted us promptly at the meeting point with excitement to teach us everything she could in a limited amount of time.
Julia made sure to show us all the “secret” areas of the Vatican that are not so obvious to the general public. She guided us in such a timely manor that we could appreciate the most beautiful aspects of the monuments at times with the least amount of crowds.
